In mexican culture is commonly used an artifact called molcajete, which is used to smash chiles and create different types of salsas.
 
Taking inspiration from the "smashing" gesture created by the time the salsa is being prepared, "Tejos" is a set of roly-poly toys or spinning tops that need to be submerged in ink and then turned in a flat surface in order to "turn freely" and create random paint figures.
